Remember that it's Disney and you're supposed to have fun. They are attempting to recreate home life in the 50's and 60's and what meal time was like if you had brothers and sisters and an extended family. Basically you're part of the attraction instead of standing in line for a half hour to see something. Go along with it and you'll have fun. I'm taking my 50 something sister there this year and am hoping to get a lively server. I've had both and if you get a dud, work the rest of the room. If your child is cranky and tired, speak up. We did last year with my daughter and the meal was enjoyable for everyone. Instead of her being the target of fun, I was which made the meal easy for everyone. I saw a boy at the next table who didn't eat his beans get a large plate of them with whipped cream and chocolate sauce for dessert. (then the real dessert was brought out) Just relax, have a drink, and go with the flow. You'll have an enjoyable time.
