Shy 5 year old-character dining advice?

So we got a CRT breakfast reservation 8:15am for our first full day at MK. My daughter is shy and I worry she might not enjoy the breakfast before having more character interaction. Any advice? Should I try to get CRT for later in the trip?

There are MANY characters you can meet in the judge's tent in toontown (air conditioned) if you want her to have character experience before a meal!....If you plan a meal later in your trip you can also cancel w/o penalty if she's not into being around characters.

Disney casts different spells on different children....Some are fine with face characters, but not fully costumed ones.

There is no way to predict, and you may be happily suprised!...See if you can get a latter ressie, and if you cannot, then worry, but if you can, then you have choices!
