We are staying at Pop Century and would like to take the shuttles to the parks everyday. We would also like to bring our own stroller. Will they let us bring the stroller on the bus with us? Thanks

You can bring your stroller on any Disney transportation bus if you fold it. The smaller the stroller the easier it is in my opinion.

Back when our DS13 was little we had one of the Graco jumbo strollers. They made us take him out and fold it up and put it in the cargo hold on the bus. Now I have seen people fold theirs up and bring them on the bus with them. Like the PP stated the smaller the stroller the better. We just thanked our lucky stars that our DS did not stay in the stroller that long.

The only busses that have a cargo hold are the cruise line busses. They sometimes use them for the parks too, when the parks are busy. But having to stow your stroller is not the norm. But you do have to have your children out of them when you go to board the bus.

We've beem told that there is a law that all children must be removed from strollers and the strollers folded up on all buses. Even the ones with the wider center aisle - you have to fold the stroller.

We have a large Graco stroller that we take on the bus every day. We fold it up and DH sets it on the floor between his feet during the ride.

We have small stroller and larger 3-wheel. We have taken both on the bus many times with no problems. You get into a routine after awhile.

Our system is as follows (we have 2 kids and a combi double):

Diaper bag that hangs on the straps; "grab-and-go" back underneath with extra clothes, diapers, or whatever else extra we think we need for the day that won't fit in the primary bag.

When we get to the bus stop (either at the resort or at the park) -- I take both kids (ages 4 and 2 now). DH unclips the diaper bag and pulls the grab and go bag out from the bottom. Folds stroller. Carries it and the bags on. I take two kids. When the kids were younger, we kept a mei tai (a fabric baby carrier) that I would put the younger kid in to keep my hands more free. It's not stressful or anything. We've never held up a bus or made a scene. The grab-and-go bag makes it much easier. Don't put lots of little junk under the stroller...you'll have to take it all out to fold up.

Good luck!!

I don;t see any problem at all. Like everyone says...you need to fold it and your kid should not be riding it.

Good luck with your trip and let us know how it goes.;)

Like all the pp have said the smaller the stroller the better. I'm not sure how many kids you have but this worked great for us when we went. I bought 2 cheap umbrella strollers for my 5 & 2 yr old and then connected them w/stroller connectors. Here is what they look like:

They connect to the top and bottoms of the strollers. They are awesome!! One of my best investments by far. They snap on and off very easily. Definitely worth the $10 I spent on them.

No, I know they don't do this anymore but I was stating that when our DS13 was little we had to do this. They wouldn't even allow us to fold it up and bring it on the bus like they do now.

That must have been before 1997 because we started going then and never rode on a bus where you couldn't take the stroller on the bus (folded with no children in the stroller).

This was back in 1996. We only rode the bus maybe 3 times during our visit and we had the same driver every time. He made us fold up the stroller and store it. I thought this was normal. Who knew. Maybe he didn't like my perfume.:lmao:
