Can anyone tell me the best way for my five family members to get from SNA to hojos Anaheim. They took Disneyland Resort express last time and went Roundtrip. I am wondering if it would be cheaper for them to share a taxi van this time. Can anyone tell me what the fares would run using the taxi.

?? Is that per person on which service??
At SNA you just walk to the taxi section and get on the first taxi available. -They are all lined up, and someone is there directing you. If you have 5 people you may have to wait for a vehicle that can accommodate you. It is the same price regardless of how many people you have in your group.
--But this is SNA, which is what the OP asked about. From LAX it was about $105 last time I check on taxi's. In which case I would get a dedicated shuttle. - Last time we used Lansky car service from LAX and I believe we paid $90 one way and then $80 back (we booked it as a round trip.)

I often have four grandkids with me and I've never had a problem getting a mini-van taxi.
Plenty of room for everyone and their luggage too.
We fly into SNA or LGB.
October From SNA to GCH was $45
From GCH to SNA 6days later it was $35
Go figure?????

Good tips, Thanks!:teeth:

Thank you everyone for the detailed information I was leaning towards a taxi service and it sounds like the prices will be cheaper with a bigger group.

From LGB to DLH in March we paid $50

I couldn't remember the return rate so I called PPH about rates for our Dec trip.
The rate for a return flat rate $40 taking Ball St to LGB and $50 if going on freeway.

Taxi flat rate from LGB to DLR area is $45 (+ tip). DLR hotels have a voucher for the taxis which lists the $50 / $40 flat rates to LGB.....though the driver will usually take the freeway....

If you are getting a taxi return to airport (LGB) from DLH, do you just call the front desk or are there lots of taxis out front waiting?

Also, can you use credit card to pay taxi or do you need cash? How much do you tip? I am going on a girls trip and usually my husband takes care of these things while I keep the kids happy so thanks for the help with something that seems it should be easy.

Anyone have any experience with Uber from SNA?

Yes, we used Uber for the first time ever a few weeks back. My husband was super reluctant, but after our return trip to the airport he told me there is no other way to do it now! We booked our car after claiming luggage and it came under 6 minutes, right at the door to baggage claim. He called just to make sure he knew where we were exactly. The fare was $24. On our return trip he arrived in about minutes after booking a car. It took us 16.40 minutes from the time he arrived, loaded the car, installed car seat, and got dropped off at SNA. Same cost for the return trip. :) We had a $30 credit on Uber after downloading the app, that is what convinced us to try it out.

We really liked using the taxi service from SNA on our last trip in 2013. DH and I were surprised at how low the cost was (about $40 + tip), it was really convenient and easy (we are a family of 4) to use. When we return to DLR in June, we already said we will be going with the taxi service again (again flying into SNA).

I believe that they want your party downstairs with luggage, and the valet service calls the taxi. It's been a while, but I thought that they were lined up at GCH so took a minute to get to DLH. (this may have been at PP that I'm remembering...)

You can use credit card, and you can add your tip to the CC as well. We've always tipped about $6-7 (about 15%)

When we were leaving DLH to LGB we needed a mini van for 5 people and luggage. There were many taxis there waiting just no mini vans for 5 people. Bell Service called for one and it was there in about 20 minutes.
