We need to rent a car for one night to get from the airport to hotel and then to Wilderness Lodge in the morning to get passes for the park. We have an 820am ADR in Epcot so I was thinking its best to drop the car at the WDW car care center for National and then have them shuttle us to Edcot. Has anyone done this and would it be an issue or major hassle?
Thanks

I have rented a car and dropped it off at the car care center a few times. They will shuttle you to your destination but there may be a wait. Once I waited 15-20 minutes for a ride. They have a limited amount of shuttle buses and you may have to wait for one to return.

Is your plan to get up, drive to WL, check in to get tickets, drop off the car and then get to EPCOT for a 8:20 ADR? That may be some tough timing.

We have done this before, but we were lucky that a shuttle was there already & we had our own private ride! It was great! We went to a park, but didn't have an ADR to make. But in your case, that early, I don't know if I would chance it.

Thnnks, I'm thinking now it might be better to just drive to Epcot after getting tickets and then drop the car off later in the day, that way DH can get the shuttle from the Car Care center to Wilderness lodge. Parking is free at Epcot for hotel resort guest?

Yes, theme park parking is free when staying at a WDW resort.

National is also at the Dolphin. You could drop off the car there with the valet when the rental desk isn't open (they'll give you a receipt), then walk over to the International Gateway entrance to Epcot for your breakfast reservation.

It sounds like you're staying offsite the first night, then checking in at the WL in the morning. You can check in anytime starting at 6:00 AM, pick up your tickets and drive over to the Dolphin.
