Shuttle pickup time?

Our flight leaves at 3:55pm from LAX on a tuesday. We contacted supershuttle & their pre-set computer program scheduled the pickup at Hojo between 12:45-1:00pm. I'm not sure exactly how far Hojo is from LAX or how busy the freeway will be at that time (been hearing alot about rush hour traffic). Will this be enough time given we'll probably have to wait in a long line at LAX too (both at check in and security) before we even get to our gate? I just don't want to be overly rushed. Should we change our pickup time to noon?

Also, we'll have magic morning tickets that morning, so....?

Supershuttle usually is pretty good about their pickup times, but if you want to add in 45min to an hour, do so. Your magic morning tickets can be used, and by 10 you should be wanting to get away from the crowds. One last thought, see if you can checkin with your airline online the day before; then all you have to do is check bags and that is a lost faster at the kiosks. Security is long, but not horribly so on a Tuesday.

Yes, we fly SWA and I do plan to check in online on Monday at Hojo's internet kiosk! Yeah! But, in the picture, I didn't see a printer...so I'm assuming I'll still have to go up to a desk at LAX to get my passes? I'm not an experienced traveler here, so if there are things I can do to speed up the process, please let me know. Thanks.

i think your pick up time is fine. When we used them in April, we gave them a similar time frame, and after picking up 2 other parties at neighboring hotels and one lady who was a couple exits down the freeway, with quite a bit a traffic, we arrived maybe, 1 hour and 50 minutes before departure time. You should be fine.

Oh, and we arranged exclusive van pickup...so should be no other stops or they owe me a partial refund!

Then you should have ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEM, that is plenty of time, even with a little traffic, you'll be fine

I think your pick-up times are fine. It will take almost an hour to get to the airport, and that will give you time to check in, get some Sees candy at the SW kiosk & go wait at your gate.
