We viewed from The Astronauts Hall of Fame, which I think is about as close as you can get whilst not at actually at KSC. There is a viewing are on the roof with a radio transmission of the countdown. The other cool thing was that the Hall of Fame was actually open, so you could kill a couple of hours in there whilst waiting for the launch.
