Shuttle Launch from FW Boat Dock?

Good morning all -- we are at the Fort now and wondering if anyone has watched the shuttle launch from the boat dock at the Fort before? Just curious if that would be a good view . . . saw on the Theme Parks board that we needed an unobstructed view towards the east and that the WL dock was a good spot so I was hoping that the FW dock would work too? Thanks!

The beach and the dock are both good locations. But take a radio with you so you know if the launch is still a go or not.

I don't think the shuttle ever launches from the dock. Otters have been known to launch from there though

Many years ago Disney would use shuttles to transport people from the parking lots to the parks,,not sure if they use shuttles anymore,

The shuttle does launch from the dock several times every day. I have seen it many times but I just don't get what all the fuss is about. I mean it's just a slow boat to the MK or other resort. Fun to ride and I will watch it sometime if I happen to be there but I am not going to make a special trip to the dock just to watch it take off.

We watched the launch from the dock in February with about 15 other people. Just stand at the end on the right side and look to the east, it'll look like a tiny cigarette turned upside down going up.
We watched CNN in the RV before heading out to be sure the launch was going to happen. Have fun!
