Shuttle Launch 1st November

Ooh we leave just before that.

In 2007 we got tickets for the launch. Went over on the day - having breakfast in cracker barrell - launch postponed. Postponed a couple more times. Then our return home date changed due to DD getting chickenpox and we thought we would get to see it afterall. Then postponed again.

Tickets were expensive and non refundable/not permitted to sell on.

If we were to try and see a launch again i'd just go for a public area - then at least we would not be out of pocket if postponed.

We'll be either travelling to or at the airport (MCO) for our evening flight home, hopefully we'll be able to see it in the sky! DH and DS9 will be at KSC on Sat 23 Oct, they are hoping the shuttle might be on the trawlerway or Launch Pad.
