I tried searching this forum for transportation but nothing came up. Anyways, I'm in the middle of planning our first trip to WDW during Spring Break next year. I've got it down where we won't need to rent a car during our stay. However, my DW and I would love to take our DS6 and DD3 to Sea World for one of the days while we're out there. This begs the question:
Are there any shuttles from the WDW area that takes you to Sea World and back? We'll be staying at POFQ. If needed, we could rent a car but I'd prefer not to. Please chime in with any suggestions. Much appreciated!

Lap3,
I've spent the past couple of days trying to figure out this exact question. There is no shuttle, but there is a Lynx bus that goes from the TTC to Seaworld. I believe it is number 50. If you go to the Orlando Visitors website, they have links to the bus and schedules.
DH and I plan on doing this for a day, although we are not sure if we'll go to Seaworld, or pick up the trolly and go somewhere else.

That's just what I needed to know! I didn't go to the suggested Orlando Visitors site but on mousesavers.com, they explained it just the way you did. Thanks for the info!

We found the Lynx bus services to be pretty good and the drivers pretty helpful

You know, on mousesavers, they said the travel time is about 20 minutes. I'm assuming this is public transportation. Do they make frequent stops?

I've been trying to find that out myself. By looking at the schedule, there appears to be a couple of stops, but I'm not sure how many.

I hope the 20 minutes is accurate. My friend is going to call her cousin who lives in Orlando and check with her. If and when I find out, I'll let you know.

If u check the timetable it will give u a time we found them to prety reliable with there times

The only downside with Lynx, is the time it takes to get to TTC from your resort. FW & WL are the only resorts with bus connections. Your best bet is bus to MK then monorail to TTC, which takes time. By the time you have added in all your waiting times (for your MK bus, for the monorail and for your Lynx bus), it will take a long time to get to Sea World.

Mears do a shuttle service, though this might pick up from other hotels on the way.

There are also limo services and taxis if you don't want to rent a car

We've used the Mears shuttle from any Disney hotel to SeaWorld and or Universal and it's a great service.Call them the night before and arrange time you want to be picked up,and they'll pick you up at a designated area/arranged time when you exit the theme park.
We've used this service several times, and been more than pleased on each and every occasion.
Have a great trip,
