I assumed that HOJO's would have a shuttle.....but looking at their website it doesn't look like they do :scared:

So....how do we get from the airport to HOJO's???? :scared1:

You can also take a taxi (~$40-45 total each way plus tip) or SuperShuttle ($7 - 10 per person each way plus tip). If your party is small, I recommend SS and the code UYR59 for a discount of $3 each way with an online reservation (you can make this a per person discount by doing each member of your party separately). You can also prepay the tip online with SS. A taxi is nice if your party is larger because it's one rate for the whole group and there are taxi vans that can accomodate 9 people for the same amount. Disneyland Express is a bus that many people recommend, as the PP mentioned. It's reasonably priced and you don't need carseats if you have young children.

DBF and I always take Super Shuttle to DLR. It's $10/person each way but there are tons of discount codes online for $2 off each way.

If you have 4 or more in your group I'd go with the taxi.

Super Shuttle is my second option, just pray you don't get a van full of people going to many different locations. One Super Shuttle ride took us 1 hour to get to DLR!

Ugh! I've seriously never went anywhere that a hotel didn't have a shuttle!

We have a party of 5....2 adults, 2 kids under 7 and an infant.

Do we need to schedule a taxi ahead of time?

Dh will also need to take a taxi back to the airport on Thursday to get our rental car. I know there are closer places but the airport was 50% cheaper for some reason. We had to get a van/SUV so it wasn't cheap! :headache:

With a party of 5, take a taxi. You don't need to schedule ahead but you might want to ask about a flat rate when you find a taxi. Sometimes they'll negotiate one and sometimes they won't.

I'd suggest your dh take SuperShuttle back to the airport. Make the reservation ahead of time and use a coupon code. They will pick him up from the hotel with a 15 minute window and it will only cost him $7. A taxi will run $45ish.

When you deboard, follow the signs for ground transportation. You will go outside, and cross a few lanes of airport traffic to a station where they will tell you which line to stand in (much like Disneyland!). You'll have to wait 5 - 10 minutes TOPS. Taxis drive around there all day long, every day. It honestly couldn't be any simpler.

ETA: Also, with regard to hubs taking cab back to the airport, remember to factor in the $45 + tip back to the airport to pick up the car. There is an Alamo in DD, and if you return it to the same place, I'd be surprised if the hike back to the airport to pick up a car came out to be cost effective.

Thanks for the info.

We rented a car because we are driving to Phoenix and dropping it at Sky Harbor when we come home. So it is far more cost effective to rent at the airport....to the tune of several hundred $$ less
