Shuttle bus or drive?

Hi guys. Tried to find the answer to this unsuccessfully. Is it better to use the shuttle buses or drive to the carpark from the partner hotels? Me, wife and son (6 and 5). I'll have dream annual passports with free parking. (1st trip planning and go in a fortnight.......!)

I've never driven it but the shuttle buses are easy enough and they're quite frequent. It can be a bit of a scrum to get on them at peak times but I'd rather do that then have to drive. Especially when you consider how far some of the parking space are from the park gates.
