I know I have seen threads regarding this before, but I have some questions regarding details.

We currently have the following room set up:
Room 1 - Myself, Son, My Sister
Room 2 - Mother-in-Law, Father-in-Law, Wife
Room 3 - Mother, Father, Daughter

This was done to ensure everyone had Silver CC status (as only myself, my wife, and my daughter have been on DCL before).

I just want to be sure that we will be able to get a photo package for all photos containing myself, my wife, and my son and daughter, even though we are all in separate rooms. If not, I'm considering changing all the reservations, because I'm not sure the extra 15 days will help us (we only want a cabana which is unlikely at silver and Palo brunch, which could be an issue, but hopefully we would be able to do this once on board).

Thanks in Advance!

I cannot answer the question about the photo package for certain, though if your reservations are linked I would think that would be no problem? Just note that if you change your reservations in such a way so that there is not one Silver CC member in each stateroom, you may have trouble with getting the same port arrival time, if that matters to you. We are experiencing that for our upcoming cruise, since we have Gold members and silver members in various staterooms - including my own spouse, who is Silver while I am Gold. We have 6 people so we have to book two rooms but we couldn't get the same PAT. DCL's answer is that the whole family has to accept the later PAT. So just be aware of that possibility as one reason you might NOT want to rearrange your reservation.

The full photo CD is one per stateroom. Only exception is if there are 2 rooms with one nuclear family (Dad & minor kids in one; Mom & minor kids in the second). I do know that a minor child in a different room than the parents (like your room 3) can include the child on their CD (as long as the parents room has purchased the full CD). Not sure if that would work to include an adult in a different room. You would have to ask at Shutters about that.

You can, however purchase additional CDs (for additional rooms) at 50% off after purchasing one at full price for one room.

Any photos taken of anyone in a room that purchases a CD will have that photo on their CD, regardless of whoever else is in the photo.

DCL does request, if you wish to board together, that you board with the highest boarding number. I'll also point out, it's quite likely that, even with two different CC levels, both rooms could get the same PAT. With different PATs, it's really not difficult to arrive at the same time, but quite likely that each PAT will have different boarding numbers, as those are tied to the PATs.

Thanks for the responses, we don't cruise until February, but I thought I would ask.
Purchasing at a 50% discount should be fine, or we can always go a la carte if there are just a few extras to purchase.

I've added a note in my calendar to update this based on what shutters tells me on board.

If you're fairly certain that you are going to purchase at least one CD, you should do that pre-cruise, as there's a little bit of a discount that way. Then, if you want to purchase the second (or third) CD, you do so once onboard.

I have the same situation for our cruise on the Fantasy next month. We also have 3 staterooms---me and DD1 in one, my parents in another, and my DD2 with my brother in another (though she will really be staying in mine.) I was told that for the price of 1 CD I could get all pics of me and both DDs as long as I let them know she was mine even though she is in a different room officially. But would have to buy 2 other CDs to get pics of everyone. So, my plan is just to get as many pics of us all together, or make sure my DDs are in most pics with grandparents or uncle to make it worth the cost of 1 CD. Any other must have pics (like of my parents together since it is their 50th anniv trip) will probably just be bought individually. Because even if the 2nd and 3rd CD are 50% off that is $800!
