Shutters - good/bad/so-so

I just realized there's a restaurant in CBR. I knew there was CS but didn't know there was TS too.

So...is it good?

Hi

We ate there in November (because I have always wanted to stay at CBR and wanted a reason to visit).

I had the pasta. On the menu it comes with shrimp, but they let me have chicken in it instead. I thought the pasta was excellent!! I wish I had some right now!! I can't remember what all it had in it, but you might be able to find a menus on allears.

DH had the steak. He said it was "average". I believe his exact words were, "Good, but nothing to do flips over!" He will go back if I want to, but he won't be the one to suggest it.

We were almost the only ones in the whole restaurant (just a couple of other groups). From what I can remember, there were only about 5 options in each category to chose from (entree,dessert, etc). So not a very big selection.

I asked a very similar question about a month ago. I have never heard much about Shutters. I got four or five responses and it was pretty mixed. The only commonality was that the menu was kinda small. What I took away from it was its ok but nothing special.

I haven't been to shutters for a couple years, but I liked it fine. It isn't a "wow" type of place, but it's good food, good service, and the restaurant is comfortable and convienent (if you're staying there).

I'd go back if we're at CBR again. It's fine. If you need a good dinner, check it out.

We had dinner there last year. It wasn't bad, but I guess the best way to describe it is "it was very forgettable". If you are at CBR and too tired to go anywhere else for dinner, it will suffice, but lots of better choices elsewhere.
