Another Shutterfly fan. We've been using Shutterfly for years for photos and family calendars.

I've been using Shutterfly for years and have had nothing but great pictures and service from them. Without fail I always receive my orders within 2 days. I also buy my future pictures in bulk, buying 500 at a time, to keep prices low. I've tried other online services but they all pale in comparison to Shutterfly.

Thanks, bicker. And another question...I presume the pictures are simply printed on each page, the page itself being photo paper, in various colors and/or backgrounds?

No. You actually lay-out the book. Each page can have any of nine or ten different layouts. You can place the photos as you wish, and place captions in various places on each page. You can choose borders around certain photos or all photos, various thematic backgrounds for each page, typefaces (to some extent), etc.

It's actually free to join and create the book. You only pay if you want the hard-copy. I actually built a book on both Kodak and Shutterfly. I highly recommend spending at least a few minutes actually putting a couple of pages together so you can see how it works.

Based on the glowing reports here, I worked over the weekend to build a photobook of the 4 days Natalie and I had together at WDW back in late '04.

I would up with 50 pages, 127 photos. I spent quite a bit of time on it, revising, rewording and such. I am looking forward to seeing the results.

Current 'special' pricing was that mentioned above by bicker, $23.99 plus 80 cents over 20. Also they have free shipping at the moment, and I found an online code ACOGYAYF for another 20% off. I ordered two books, one to give to Natalie, one for us to keep. 'Regular' price was $111.98, discounted was $89.58, delivered, no tax.

The DIS comes through again. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas, LOL.

I can't say enough good things about Shutterfly. In the last couple of years since my daughter was born, I've ordered so many pictures from them. So many in fact that a couple of weeks ago they sent me an offer for a FREE 20 page leather photo book for being such a good customer. I ordered it last Thursday and it arrived today and came out beautiful. It is all my favorite pictures from my daughters first year. I love Shutterfly!

Yes, I ordered two hardcovers, 8.75 X 11.25, with the leather covers. Came out to $45 per book. I hope she likes hers too.
