Shutterfly vs Photopass photobooks

I use Shutterfly, Snapfish, and KodakGallery. I made my 1st 4 or more books with KodakGallery and was hooked on them. Then I got a promo for Shutterfly and tried them out. Different and not used to how to build the book but I have to admit that I loved the end product! (Maybe I was just used to how you built a book with KodakGallery.)

Now I go where-ever the coupon takes me for the lowest price. I've used Snapfish and there's is a good end product as well. Never used winkflash or smilebooks but will surf over there!

BTW, I was able to use all the Photopass pix for my books (I made 3 of them). No problem; no questions asked.

mirandag819, Thanks for the info on Picaboo. How was the quality of the finished book? Did you ever post a video to show your finished album? I ask because I found that site last year (LOVE all the background options) and started making a Disney album. I stopped working on it because I did my Christmas cards through Picaboo and I didn't think the quality of the printed photos was very good compared to the cards I received from other people (Snapfish, Shutterfly, etc). So, while I would love to use them for my photobook, I would love to hear more about the quality of the finished album. Thanks so much!

I was deleting spam just now and saw this question in my email… wow I am way way late! The quality of the book was awesome, a million times better than shutterfly! I did a video awhile back, let me see if I can find it. I wasn't crazy about their cards either, but their photo books were awesome!

If you take the photo's from the cd and put them onto your computer you can then upload them to shutterfly. Easy peasy! :thumbsup2

If you are proficient in photoshop at all you can make your own 12x12 pages with disney characters and then upload those as one photo. There are many digital scrapbooking sites that have Disney theme sets.

I have never had any quality issues from Shutterfly. Love that they have sales so often and you can also get cheap gift cards off of ebay. You can add clipart as a jpg file to add a little more disney flare if you like. I also have creative memories disney digital photography that has a few disney backgrounds. There are just so many more options for page layouts, texts than the disney photopass one. Do the custom path, they give you some background, but you can add alot more and also great embellishments.... the first time you use it it might seem a bit labor intensive, but after that it is a breeze.
