Is this normal? I haven't re-charged my battery since two weeks ago when I got my D60, but today on my lunch break I was walking around and playing with A, S and M modes and even though the LCD screen showed my battery at a little less than 50% full, I got the message above.

From what I can tell online, it stopped allowing me to take pictures to avoid the shutter getting stuck in the "open" position when the battery dies, but I just wanted to make sure that was correct and I hadn't broken something :rotfl:

Thanks!

Another disaster averted. I came home and put my battery right back on the charger, and now everything is a-okay. I am definitely falling in love with my new camera, but anything new that pops up majorly freaks me out and has me worried that I have broken something. What a relief I haven't....
