Hey all,

We are spending one night at Art of Animation on XMAS eve with my dog. We have reservations at Shula's that night and I was wondering if there is a dress code. My wife and I were there 13 years ago and we dressed up, but we were young guns back then, and quite simply, I have gotten lazy . Is there a dress code, or would khaki shorts and a T shirt or sweatshirt be acceptable? I know that we will not be turned away unless we wore something outrageous, but I also don't want to embarrass myself!

If warm, I would think khaki shorts would be fine with a golf shirt. For ladies a nice pair of capris or a sun dress would be fine.

I doubt they would turn you away, when I went about a year ago I wore a button down and khakis, I coulda gone with a polo/ golf shirt and kahaki shorts been fine. I think a T-shirt would be underdressed unless you are wearing a nice sweater over it.

I can only relate what WE do.... everything else is your choice.

When we go to Shula's, long pants (black Jeans work well), Long Sleeve Shirt (colored is fine), and depending on FL heat? I wear a basic black blazer. Just us, we treat this great place as a great place.

I understand your responses, andthose are what I expected. I just developed peripheral neuropathy, so I am uncomfortable most of the time... the looser and less restricting, the better. God, I'm only 42!

I am in my early 30s and I don’t have that condition but I struggle with something that makes wearing tight clothes hard at times... unbearable even. I’m in good shape n health otherwise. Sorry, I feel your pain, probably at a VERY small level, but I do. Also I was at shulas last month, business casual is fine. My husband wore nice pair of dark denim n button down shirt, no issue.

My DH wears khaki shorts and a collared polo shirt when we go to Shula's. Whatever you decide to wear, enjoy! It is amazing!
