Which would you choose? The menu for both places looks great to me! Also, do either have a view of the fireworks at Epcot? Or is it easy to get to Epcot from The Dolphin? Thanks!

Id choose BlueZoo. I love a good steak but don't oder them out too much. The creativity of the menu at BlueZoo is the different maker for me.

Also, there is no Illuminations viewing from either restaurant but both are a close walk to the International Gateway entrance to Epcot.

Shula's is straight-up high-end steak house with hints of seafood on their menu.

BlueZoo is seafood-centric with a hint of meat on their menu.

Some nights we want steak. Some nights we prefer seafood.

We enjoy both, we prefer seafood at BlueZoo.

No, you cannot see fireworks from either restaurant.

Another thing about Swan & Dolphin Signatures - childcare at Camp Dolphin is 'free' with the price of an entree.

While you are closer to Hollywood Studios from Swan & Dolphin, Epcot is not that much further - and past the opposite end of the Boardwalk.

Also, there are boats that go from Epcot-to-Hollywood Studios with stops along Boardwalk and Swan & Dolphin. It's very easy, albeit, somewhat time consuming.

Rule of thumb - if you see the boat - take it. However, if you don't see the boat, you'll probably save time walking.

We are thinking of eating at Shula's over Christmas. They are offering a $25 bonus with a $150 gift card. They also offer a birthday bonus for signing up on their site.

bluezoo has long been my favorite restaurant at WDW and I try to go every vacation. We just returned 5 weeks ago and dined at both of these. bluezoo remains my favorite.

We ate at Shula's in April and are going back in 2 weeks. The steaks were amazing and the service was top notch. I recommend the 24 oz. Porterhouse. We were able to take advantage of their gift card deal where you purchase a $150 gift card and you get a $25 e-gift card for free. Last time we went the bill with tip was $250. A bit pricey but we went all out and got salads, steaks, shared 2 different sides, desserts, and a few alcoholic beverages.

We thought Bluezoo was awful. The service was inattentive and slow. The food was ok but super salty--not worth the price.

I have not eaten at Bluezoo but as a dedicated carnivore I love Shula's.

Shula's no doubt! And I'm not even a steak eater - love the roasted garlic chicken nom nom

We've eaten at both and they are both superb. It depends whether you want seafood/fish or steak. Shula's is quieter and more intimate. The staff cannot be more accommodating at Shula's. My only complaint would be the loudness at Bluezoo. But, we can't wait to return to both! You can watch fireworks from the bridge near the resort. But, it is so easy to hop on a friendship boat to Epcot or walk over the International Gateway for a better view.

LOL, this is how I refer to DW & DDs. They never met a slab of beef they didn't like! (I like it sometimes but not as much as they do.):)
I have turned my 17 year old daughter into one as well. I took her and her boyfriend out to dinner and he turned pale watching her eat.

Can't go wrong with either. I would say it depends on how adventurous your group is...if they aren't very adventurous you are likely safer at Shula's.

Also, it's super easy to get to/from Epcot to this location.

They are both excellent restaurants and among the best in WDW and for that matter would stand out as excellent outside of WDW. I'm going to say that if you want steak then Shula's is the place to go. Shula's does offer some excellent seafood dishes as well with scallops, lobster tails, surf & turf and salmon as well. Bluezoo also offers a few beef dishes as well, but they really stand out in the fish and seafood dishes. They both offer excellent service and excellent entrees. I myself prefer Bluezoo by a very short margin.

Both are good choices and are among the best restaurants in WDW. My preference is bluezoo because there are dozens of corporate steakhouses where I live (including a branch of Shula's).

Also, even though bluezoo is seafood-focused, they served me one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. Every meal I've had at bluezoo has been excellent, from solo dinners at the bar to blow-out celebration group dinners.

The menu at BlueZoo didn't appeal to us so we went with Shula's. Better for those less adventurous!
