I was just reading a dining review and noticed that the skillet at WCC didn't have the shrimp. Did they do away with the shrimp? It was a review from someone who just returned. I really hope that this isn't the case. Does anyone know if they are gone? Thanks

They had it when we were there early in September (it was terrible), but I read that it has been removed from the skillet.

Thanks for the info. I'm sorry you all didn't like it. I think I'm going to cancel and change that ressie to something else. I was looking forward to the shrimp. Oh well, there are lots of other places that we would love to try. I wonder if this is going to be a trend, eliminating the shrimp from the menus. We are looking forward to it at Ohana. Thanks again.

The shrimp are at dinner not at lunch. That may be why it wasn't in the review.

We were at Disney Sept. 20-26 and had dinner at WCC and there was shrimp on our skillet, but even if there hadnt been shrimp we still would eat here it was excellent in our opinion. I wouldnt change my ressie unless you want dinner.

yeah, we ate there for dinner on the 22nd of sept- the shrimp were def there!

Shrimp is gone...replaced with sliced beef brisket.

Good to know.

Suzanne, I am 99% sure you showed us to our table, but I couldn't get the gumption up to say, 'hey there, I'm Alice28 on the DISboards.' :rotfl: I think Prairie Grass Skirt was our actual server (I think that was her nickname).

Oh, you should have said something!!!

As I posted above, yes all, the shrimp is gone as of last Sunday. Now have beef brisket in the skillet. Prime rib is gone, now have a ribeye steak. Banana dustbowl dessert is gone (was my fav), now have a chocolate crusted bourbon pecan pie. Lots of new drinks from the bar that are mighty tasty!!

I’m really bummed about this. I just changed my Chef Mickey’s ADR to the WCC, it would be the first time we have tried it, but my daughter is a pescetarian so she will not eat any of the meat selections. Are there other fish/seafood offerings?

I would go there just to see Suzanne..(err I mean, Hedda Lettuce) She rocks! :)
