Would my kids enjoy this? Do they get a good view of the show? I am sure every kids dream is to get soaked by Shamu....I'm thinking this wouldn't allow for that?

HELP????

I did the showtime picnic at seaworld in April. The food was absolutely fantastic. The seating was in the second balcony just off of center. So it was nowhere near the Shamu splash zone. The view was good. But it would have been nice to be a little closer. The one good thing about the seating is its a roped off area so their is lots of room and you are not squished. Also u dont have to arrive over a half an hour before the show like everyone else. You could show up 10 mintues before the start of the show. If you dont mind spending the money in my opinion its worth it and I would do it again.

Sorry I forgot to say I took my 2 year old son and he absolutely loved the show. And the kids get a nice little lunch kit to take home.

Thanks! I like the idea of not having to come so early. We are only there for the day and there is so much to see...I'd hate to miss anything. I think this will be our plan!

We did this last year (just DH and I) and we liked it. Like PP said, it would have been nice to be a little closer but I'm sure they are trying to keep everyone's lunches from getting soaked. It was really nice to not have to wait very long for the show. Also, we didn't pay that much more than we would have for lunch in the park anyway so we thought it was a good deal. The food was good (not the best but good for this type of thing) and there was a lot of it.

We did this last month. I was worried about the show crowds in summer. We were there on a pretty hot day and it was nice to only show up 10 minutes early and have a good seat - instead of sitting in the hot sun for over 30 minutes ahead of time. Like the PP said, the seats are good, not great, but you have lots of room to spread out and be comfy. And the sandwiches were very good, as was the pasta salad. The fresh fruit was fantastic. It was waaaaay too much food, but fresh and tasty. It sure made the Shamu show and lunch an easy and no stress event. We thought it was a great deal.
