Shows on the Magic

Now that the wonderful Christmas Holidays are winding down, we're starting to focus on our up coming second honeymoon, or what we call our Hurrican Jeanne Part II cruise. I think I remember reading that there have been some changes in the main stage shows since we cruised this past September. I think the Welcome Aboard Variety Show has changed some and do they still do Who Wants to be a Mousekateer one night? Also when do they start the fire works on Pirates night? We have late seating and want to make sure we don't miss anything.

Good question. The shows are my favorite but I don't care much for Hercules. Too much of the "in your face rude humor" with references to Oprah, you go girl, etc. I like to be lost in the magic of Disney without those kinds of jokes. Just me I guess since a lot of others liked it.

on my recent Magic (eastern) cruise it was:

saturday: welcome aboard variety show
sunday: the golden mickeys
monday: hercules
tuesday: the incredibles (film)
wednesday: who wants to be a mouseketeer
thursday: disney dreams
friday: farewell variety show

your show would be 6:30 pm if you have a late dinner seating.

you won't miss the fireworks if you have late seating (unless you are tired like we were!). We had late seating, dinner ends about 10 and I think the fireworks went off between 10:30-11pm

missmulan, Thanks for the info. There don't seem to be any big changes from what we were supposed to see in September. Which is fine, we love all of the shows.

eileensupple, that's good to hear. In September we were on the shortened Hurricane Jeanne cruise. We had Pirate Night as our first night in Animators, so they tried doing both shows. It made us a bit late for the deck party, so we missed the "show" at the beginning. I sure don't want to miss fireworks!
