Okay, so I have an annual pass to DL, but I wanted to buy a Southern CA 2fer ticket for a friend that doesnt live in Southern CA. Will I be able to do this or will they ask for her to show ID when entering the parks? Or only when I purchase the ticket?

They are supposed to ask for ID when the ticket is used. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Your friend is gambling on whether or not she will be able to use it. It is MEANT for So Cal residents.

Yeah, I've heard they are more strict with the So. CA passes since they are WAY cheaper than anything else you will find. I wouldn't try it, but that's just me.

Before I had an annual pass I was never asked to show i.d. when entering the parks. However if I were you, I still wouldn't do it. It's really only for southern California residents.
