Showing Am Ex at Parks

This is what the Universal website says about using the Am Ex card to get the discount " Must show the American Express offer on the Universal Orlando Mobile Site to receive the food and non-alcoholic beverage discount."

I cannot find anything about Am Ex on The Universal AP. Is this something that shows up when you get to the parks like the ride wait times? Or am I supposed to be looking somewhere else?

the AM Ex offer is online.
pull it up on your mobile phone and that is what you show the TM for the discounts.

you can't get double discounts.
AE or AP.

My experience was that I received the Am Ex discount for food by just showing my card and asking for the discount. On the other hand, for merchandise, I had to show them the offer from the website as well as pay with AmEx. You can take a screen shot of the offer and show them that...much easier. You must pay with the card to receive the discount.

I have an AMEX card but will not travel with any mobile media. WIll I be able to bring a print out of the page/link above that shows 10% off food and the various options on merchandise? will that be accepable along side my amex card? Thank you!

We used it over the last 4 days and were never asked for the mobile site. They seem to be very familiar with it. We found that the discount is not available at many of the restaurants in city walk.

In July we got the discount at Bubba Gump's and Margaritaville in CitiWalk.

Had to only show my AMEX in the park, and I usually got the discount without asking.

Only had one problem, in Quidditch shoppe. TM was new, and the manager was needed to get things straight. But the manager couldn't have been nicer about it, and we all had a laugh in the end.
