showers

With lots of really HOT water on those cold winter nights.

This thread made me wonder...are the showers crazy busy in the morning? Will we have to wait in line?:scared:

for real.....or are you pulling my leg????

As much as I may goof around on some of my posts, I am not kidding. They are, however, highly pilferable items and so their presence is not consistant. For a few years they seemed to be missing completely, however I was pleased to see them return last October, at least in the CS by the 1600 loop.

If you are an early riser like me (a byproduct of 27 years in the Army - I cannot sleep past 5 am even on vacation) there will be no lines. I generally shower around 6 am at FW, after I have taken Mickey the Wonder Beagle for a walk by the canal and started the coffee for ftwildernessgirl. It seems to pick up later, like 8-9 am. I believe the CS near the 1500 loop, which is the one I use since it adjoins the 1600 loop, is probably one of the busier stations due to the high concentration of tents and popups.

After a sticky day at the parks I take a shower at night and have it all to myself + a gecko or 2 :scared:

mornin can be madness at the busy times of the year...

I always shower at night, usually well after 11pm and have no trouble getting a shower and this is in the 2000 loop where "everybody" needs the comfort stations.

That is great news.........one thing that DH loves is a hot shower and we have a massage head on the shower at home so that will be nice.

Just can't see how one can sleep comfortably at night without showering before bed time after a day at the parks.
