I hear that they have showers there. The days that we visit TL/BB we have dinner reservations at Cape May Cafe and Ohana. I was thinking that by showering at the waterparks we will save time. We are not renting a car. We could just leave the waterpark and take the busses directly to the restaurants.I will take my dd who is 8 and my dh will take my ds who is 10 with him.
My question are:
How are the showers? Are they gross?
Will I be better off going back to the POP, showering and then take the busses to the restaurants.
Thanks for your help!!!

They aren't gross, but they're not fancy or anything either. I seem to recall benches where you can put your stuff inside the dressing area outside the shower. It's private. Since your kids are little and probably don't care about blowdrying and getting all foofed up (I have a teenager :wave2: ), it sounds like a good idea. It would take forever to take the bus back to PC, then to DTD and THEN to the Beach Club. (there are no direct buses between resorts).

I thought the showers were great at TL, nobody else was using them, they are tucked away at the back a bit, perhaps that was why. I felt that I had complete privacy, and was very comfortable using them. Each was an individual changing area with a bench then the shower. Where they gross? I didn't think so, they appeared clean, the water was nice and warm. Like I said, I got the distinct impression people didn't really use them, rather the cubicles that were just a changing room.

Thank you. I think we will probably use them since it will be too many connections. This sounds like the easiest and fastest way on those days.
Would anyone know how much the lockers are and how big are they? Thanks

The lockers are like $7. But, when you turn in your key, you get a dollar back or a drink mug or something. At least that's how it worked a couple of years ago. It's not a refillable mug, it's just a mug. The lockers aren't big, I'd say smaller than the ones you see at the airport. It has enough room for a bag with your stuff in it and two or three pairs of shoes. The last time we went to Blizzard Beach we didn't bother with a locker.

I ju got back from eckert's and found mini dove soap bars(got 2) ,a travel set of empty bottles, and a bottle of 2 in 1 shampoo. I am going to make up 2 bags(one for boys and one for girls) and we will be set for both days.
I just told my kids that we are going to do this and they are a little frightend. They'll get over it!!!
Thanks everyone!

Tell your kids it's fine. It was really nice and quiet when I used it, no one else could see you, so hey I was happy to strip off no worries!!!! Really, if they are happier for Mom or Dad to be stood out in front of the cubicle then fine, but it's really not that bad!! I'm a bit high maintenance when it comes to things like bathrooms and hotels and all that, but I found these to be fine. I was on my own changing and showering, and I felt quite secure!

Are the showers private and dressing rooms? I thought that they were, I hope so.

Yes they are, at least there are at TL. That's why I was perfectly comfortable using them.

By the time you finish enjoying a waterpark you probably don't need a shower.

If I remember correctly, the showers inside the men's locker rooms have privacy dividers. The changing areas are not private.

There are additional shower heads operated by a pull chain outside the locker rooms.
