Years ago I bought some shower-on sun protection cream in Florida (I think it was called "soap screen" or something like that.) It worked very well and was especially good for the follicly challenged :rolleyes1 as it protected your head as well. All you had to do was use it as a shower gel, wash your hair with it and you were pretty much protected all day. Marvellous stuff!
Anyone seen anything like it over here? Or know what it is called over there?...otherwise I'm going to have to wear a hanky on my head for the whole two weeks! :)

Dont know about that one, but recently bought something called ultrasun for my son from a site called travelwithcare.com or .co.uk cant remember which. It stated that it need only be applied once a day was sceptical!
But my son used it in Malaysia and now in oz and says it really works.
He is very fair skinned and hasnt burnt at all. Says the factor 20 is better than factor 28 as it goes on really easily.

I've never seen it but what a great idea! I hate the hassle of putting on suntan lotion so being able to apply it in the showerr would be ideal!

We normally use P20, this year we used Ultrasun.

We found P20 was much better to use to proved to less hassle to apply and lasted longer, the only downside was you had to wait 90 mins before going into the sun.

We used Ultrasun factor 17 20 and 28, DD very fair skin and has red hair. The 28 was a cream formula and did not last long, the same was with the 17, the 20 was a liquid which proved much easier to apply.

You can purchase P20 in Superdrug, John Lewis and Fenwick's and asda a last resort would be duty free!

Ultrasun you can purchase in John Lewis and onboard the airplane.

Another downside with P20, you can not use 2 in 1 shower products as the product does not bind to the skin, so only use regular soap, shampoo and conditioner seperate.

I only wish they did a higher factor in P20 as we are due to go to Egypt in September (really hot!!!)

We have used P40 in the past but it isn't easy to find. We only apply it 90 mins before going into the sun for the first day. After that we put it on straight after our shower but before breakfast...about an hour before going out. It works just fine...at least it always has in the Caribbean and at the Equator in South America.
