Shower doors...need help

We took down our sliding shower doors today They were so old and nasty. Everything came down fine except the bottom track that is attached to the bathtub. Nothing is getting that thing off. I can pry a screwdriver under one end but that thing aint budging. Any tips for getting it off?

very very carefully slide a flat razor along the enamel, under the silicone. Do not scratch the tub, it is very easy. also don't slice yourself.


also be careful about prying. You can easily chip or scratch the enamel.

now that I ahve said all that, is it an enamel tub, and was the track mounted with silicone?

when prying, try to use a piece of wood or something else soft.
or put a cloth under the prybar at the fulcrum point and pry upwards at the end.
