Are there shower rods? We found some hooks that clip over a shower rod and I was wanting to make sure that there are shower rods and not doors of some type  Overplanning...yep!

depending on what you are hooking, the shower curtain rods may not be strong enough.

a side of beef. Just kidding!

Swim suits, etc. That's all. I would hope that it could hold those.

Not sure if I am recalling correctly, but I don't think that the shower curtain is on a standard curtain rod. If I recall there is a track fastened to the ceiling that the shower curtain slides in. So there is not curtain rod to put something over.

Perhaps someone on board can double check this??

We had a clothes line in our shower. The kind that retracts (string) and there was a curtain rod that would probably hold a half side of beef, but I think you are pushing it with the whole side of beef.

I think we had a rod...but I'm not 100% sure at this point...I know we did have the clothes line in the shower....But I'm also fairly sure we had a rod...I can just about see our suits and towels hanging over it to dry.

We too had a shower curtain, but I cannot recall if there was a rod (I think so though). There is also the clothesline in the shower. One of the tips I had previously read was to get those suction cup hooks, they are supposed to work great. Of course I forgot mine.

There is a retractible clothes line mounted in the center of the shower to drip dry all the swimwear and such. Looks like a round chrome device with a pullout cord you hook opposite it. Hang them on the curtain rod and they'll drip on the floor, the rod is not quite over the tub.

Hmm, very interesting. With the clothes line being available, why do so many people recommend the suction hooks?

They probably just don't notice it, it is a kind of unobtrusive looking thing if you don't know what it is.

We used both...the clothes line and the suction cups. I found that while the clothes line was great...things didn't dry to well in the shower...expecialy if they were real close to other wet things....so we would spread things around, with some things on the line and some things on the hooks...with four of us in the room...and the shower/tub isn't regular size...it's small..there was no way to hang it all on the line with out overlaping things.

The hooks are also good for other things like sucking to the mirror to hang your lanyard with you KTTW...for that matter...I would imagine you could suck it to the stateroom door (on the inside) to hang your lanyard to.
