YES! I can say, Le livre est dans la chambre a coucher. I think that means, The book is in the living room, but I'm not sure.French is a confusing language...
There's always an exception.
And an exception to that exception...
Most of them having to do with verbs and genders and numbers.

I don't care if I can't use French right at current time. I still have another full year of it. XDI believe, that actually means your bedroom.
But if you only take one year of French and it's not intensive, you learn some of the basic sentences a 1st grader does... (Don't take offense to that, I mean, I can't most of my prime ministers, but an American 1st grader can name all of their Presidents..)
Well the first thing I learned in French was how to ask to go to to the bathroom at school.

I just took it because I didn't like the Spanish teacher. I do look up some things in French so I can say things that most people don't understand.french in highschool is basically like first grade french for french people. lol. you have to be hardcore into it if you really wanna learn anything.

in ontario you start learning french in grade 4.
i moved to ontario in grade 3, and in grade 4 i started learning things that i'd learned in kindergarden in quebec!
and then when i got to high school it was like grade 4 all over again!! lol
thank goodness i went to immersion in grade 7&8 or i might not be where i am today!
