in that splash mountain picture the water looks brown
what happened there?

Well, the water wasn't so much brown as it was GONE. We were talking to the CMs who led us to Thunder Mtn at park opening and all they told us was that the ride was closed temporarily because "somebody shut off the water." They'd started filling it again by the time we got done riding BTMRR a few times; no skin off our noses, 'cause it was about 60 degrees that morning, so we were in no great rush to get drenched anyhow.
