here is my ring... I couldnt get a good picture with it on, so I am holding it. its a 3/4ct heart cut diamond, with heart cut sapphires upside down to fit perfectly with the diamond. DF came up with the idea of the sapphires being hearts and upside down... he knew I wanted sapphires, so he got it custom made.

I'm so happy I finally get to add my engagement ring to this thread.

These are Bob's and mine. They are gold replicas of "The One Ring" from Lord of the Rings. And yes, we are geeks, But I think they are beautiful.

Oh thank you! Lord of the Rings is a trilogy of fantasy books and more recently a series of movies. The rings say (in Elvish, a made up language): "One ring to rule them all. One ring to find them. One ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them" And yes, they came in the boxes.

Pom, thanks. What happened was, that we looked everywhere for wedding rings that really struck us, didn't happen. Then I got a silly thing in "junk mail" from Noble House.

I checked them out to see if they had actual gold replicas of "The Ring" and woot yes they did!

Since Bob and I met in an online Disney role playing game (VMK) and found out that we were both Disney,Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings...well, fantasy geeks - it just seemed perfect.

As long as I don't start to hiss "My Precious" to him, we should be ok, lol.
