Here's mine! He did it last Christmas in Breckenridge, Colorado a few days before our anniversary! Soo sweet! I love it! It is a 1ct center stone with 1/3 ct pear on each side and pave stones around it..Its been 7 months and I still catch myself daydreaming and looking at it all the time!

Beautiful! Do you find the emerald gets scratched or is too soft? We were ring shopping and the jeweler told me emeralds are very soft. I am still doing research but am wondering if she was just trying to sell us a diamond.

So far no scratches .

But the jeweler that set the Emerald did say that they are more fragile than other gems. I just take it off if I am doing anything that is rough. I really love it and it's so unique. I get compliments all the time on it!

My ring has been ordered and it's on it's way but there hasn't been an "official" proposal yet. It's going to kill me if it's in the house and I can't wear it but I know my sweetie has big plans.

So as far as I know, it looks like this:

The stone is a 1.02 carat princess that's "kite mounted" meaning, instead of being square with the ring, it's turned so the corner of the stone points toward my fingernail.

My engagement ring is a simple princess cut diamond with a band (nothing fancy, but I love it; it's simple and pretty). We are getting custom made wedding bands. DF gave me a Tiffany necklace with a pink sapphire in it, so I wanted a wedding band with pink sapphires. My band is going to have three small princess cut stones in the center: pink sapphire, diamond, pink sapphire. DF's band obviously isn't going to have pink sapphires He has been dead set on us having matching bands, though, so the jeweler is going to frame and etch his band to give the illusion of there being stones without there actually being stones (I can't actually visualize this, but DF said the jeweler understood exactly what he wanted).

We should have digital images soon, and I'll post them when I can.

Beautiful! We finally decided and went with sapphire as well. I promised myself I wouldn't post any pics or start my PJ/TR until I was done with my final paper (I go to college part time in the evening) so I should have pics up in about a week!
