Sorry about that - here is my ring - they are 3 ovals with the center one larger than the side ones on a simple white gold band

I know it's been a while since you posted your ring, but I love it! I just thought I'd let you know! And I work in a Jewelry store and look at E-rings all the time, but it never gets old. I love the vintage look of your ring, it will never go out of style! (and it's not the size of the center stone that really matters, it's the look as a whole!) I think your ring is perfect! I can't wait to post mine...It's in the safe at work, I want it to be a suprise so I haven't looked! All I told him was that I wanted a Round Leo Diamond in the center, he told me that he wanted me to pick out the whole thing. I told him no, that all the other girls get someone to pick it out and just b/c I work in the jewelry store doesn't mean I didn't want the same suprise. So, we started planning our DFTW and he picked out the ring (with some help of my co-workers) And ordered it in. I wouldn't even know it was in the store except one of the girls slipped and told me it was in! Oh well!!! Can't wait to see it!!Moonpie said:Everybody's got such beautiful rings posted here! Mine is a small ring at about a 3rd of a carat, with tiny pave diamonds around the center diamond, and on the sides of the band. It's got a real old fashioned look to it, which is what I was looking for. Like I said it's not big, but I think it fits my hand perfectly. My fiance proposed with another type of gemstone ring, and let me pick out my ring at Tiffany & Co. while we were in San Francisco the day after our engagement.

I don't know about white gold, but Platinum gets a patina. My e-ring was nowhere near as shiny as my wedding band and we only got engaged 9 months prior to the wedding. I'd be curious about white gold though, DH got white gold instead of platinum (anything to save a few $$)Maggimus said:White gold girls:
I have been engaged for 3 years now and am getting married in November. Apparently white gold turns back to its original state after a while. My ring now has a faint yellowish tint to it.
Anyone else had this problem with white gold?
::ang it! I knew I should have gotten married when it was new and shiny!:::
