Happy Christmas everyone!

Our tree went up earlier this week but due to my knee surgery it was a little later this year. I've added a few other photos of other Christmas bits and pieces from the lounge.

I can't wait to see more pics :santa:

OK disers - here's the other photo I promised.

A few years back (about 14 actually), we started collected the Chilly cuddly toys from Tesco. They originally had the year on the paw / foot but they stopped doing that. The original "Chilly" was a snowman but as the years went on, they extended the range to include "Pip" the pony, "Emily" the rag-doll, "Scamp" the Scottie-dog, "Podge" the Polar bear, "Bertie" the brown bear, "Chester" the cat, "Rudy" the reindeer and "Penny" the penguin to name but a few.

However, all good things come to an end and in the last few years, Tesco have changed the range so it is now much smaller and personally, I would suggest, of a poorer quality.

Anyway, this year my wife Helen, suggested getting some of the Chilly's out and on display for Christmas. Imagine our absolute shock when we realised how much our Chilly collection had grown to - it now comprises of over 40 toys of all sizes from the Tesco Chilly range.

They are all in excellent condition and we love them to bits. We will put some of them on the stairs so that there is a toy on each step. The others will just be on display around the house.

Hope you like them!

Well done David and Simon, you've kicked off this thread nicely, loving your trees, decorations and cute toys :santa:

Feb decorations guys! I think I will do our tree on Saturday with the kids.

David - we have a fair few of those Chillys too, have you got the snowman that talks and wobbles? My DD loved him when she was a baby! :santa:

I'm a bit jealous people have already got their trees up! We're going to a Christmas market in early December so husband has said the tree can't go up before then incase we buy more decorations...not sure I can stand the wait!

We normally put ours up on 1st December, but as I am on nights for a week starting on the 28th we will have to either do it a few days earlier or a few days later (I can guess which way DW and the kids will vote)
We also have quite a few of the Chilly bears - though more by accident. I didn't realise they were so popular to be honest :goodvibes

Great decorations guys :good vibes

Hoping to put ours up on the weekend of 3rd December but have the small matter of needing to finish the decorating of the room.
Ceiling painted and wall replastered. Just the rest needing paint and papering :rolleyes1

fantasti trees, hoping to put ours up on Sunday :santa:

Lovely trees and decorations. :goodvibes

Now I want my tree up. My shipment just arrived and that was my main worry that my tree wouldn't be here. No point sticking it away in a cupboard so might just have to put it up soon. :rolleyes1

lovely trees everyone

Wow lovely trees but mandy the stitch family won it for me. Beautiful decorations. Im in a dilema as we had a new suite so hv 2 x3 seaters . Thus making it impossible to hv the tree in the lounge. So we hv decided to hv a small one in the lounge and a 6 ft one in the dining area of the kitchen. Got to buy more decorations now!!!!!

I'm loving everyone's trees & decs so far. :santa:

I am really looking forward to putting my tree's up this year, we bought two new (bigger) ones in the January sales and of course I had to buy lots more decorations to fill them. :lmao: Hopefully I will get them done this week so i'll post some pics then. :)
