Thanks folks!

You mean that red X windmill? The background seems totally blown out! :lmao:
Argh!

My web host upgraded from php4 to php5 last night - shouldn't have been a problem, but there may have been intermittent outages, and then php was using up too much memory and I needed to open a ticket to figure out where it was looking for php.ini. I finally got those errors ironed out, but I did see that I'm getting close to filling up my allotted disk space... might have to move up to a higher plan pretty soon. Sigh!

Anyway... :)

I thought of a few other shots.

From Disneyland...

You posted that shot (or a nearly identical one) a couple months ago and I remember thinking "gee, that looks awfully familiar." :teeth: Really nice work with the other ones, too, especially the Grizzly River Run one. And the subs - I didn't realize that you could get so close to them when I was there.

Here's one more shot, this was a spur-of-the-moment attempt to take a "blurred water" shot while handholding and not using an ND filter. ISO 100, F27, 1/15th of a second. Not a great shot by any means, certainly pretty crummy composition, but as I said, it was kind of a quick experiment to see how well it'd work. In retrospect, I should have taken a high-speed shot from the same place for comparison.

Here's my two. I've already posted them on different threads, so you may have seen them before, sorry. They are the only ones I have right now.

Those are FABULOUS. They look postcards or stills not actual pictures somebody took!

When I get home, I'll have to dig my water pictures out, though I'm sure they won't compare with these two.

Good job! :thumbsup2

Thank you very much!! Actually, I surprised myself with how they turned out.

...this isn't "running" water, though it is moving! :rotfl2:

This should hold me over until I get my waterfall pictures off my camera from last week.....

...Photoshop....

Need to take a tripod next week for FOCUSED and silky water! Ha! Ha!

It's running water, no? :rotfl:

I ventured on the photo board to see how I can take better pics on my upcoming trip and I have to tell you, these pictures are truly breathtaking.

Good job everyone and thank you for sharing!

Now back to see if I can learn something about my Sony Cyber Shot...I think I may have talked hubby into getting a new camera!!! :cool1:
