Can somone post the link to the times guide (I think it is Steve somebody who has a site for this).
We are planning a non-ride day at MK the first week of January (shows and character greetings only) and I have no idea how to set up a touring plan for it.
Thank you
Suzy

Just curious why you would spend a day at MK without doing any rides? Is there really enough to do to fill a day? Like I said, just wondering.

I'm not sure. We have 3 days allocated for MK.
Day 1:
get to park at opening. Do Fantasyland, Toontown, Tomorrowland and see the afternoon parade. Then back to resort late afternoon.
Day 2:
Do family Magic Tour 10am - noon. Then do the rest of the lands that weren't covered in Day 1 . Then back to hotel late afternoon.
Day 3:
Sleep in and get to MK around noon. Check out a bunch of shows, character greetings, watch Wishes and then leave after Wishes.

Does this make any sense?
Thank you

Based on your schedule, I am guessing you are traveling with kids. Unless they are regular MK attendees - they are going to want to see characters each day (and certainly not wanting to wait until the last day).

You certainly have it spread out nicely over three days. But I am guessing you might want to mix it up a bit more (unless you are traveling during holidays or really busy season when you won't have any leeway).

For example, Toontown doesn't have many attractions where you'll have to wait in line (except Barnstormer roller coaster). The rest are really walk through exhibits and character greeting. This might be a great land to incorporate into a "down" day that your arrive after noon. Conversely, Kids might appreciate a show on a day they've been rushing around to see several attractions.

You are right on track to do Fantasyland first on the day you arrive at opening.

Hope this is of help.

I think you are totally right. It will be me, DD8 and DS5.We will be at MK during the first week of January. We have only ever spent one day at MK so it is still very new to us. I think we should follow your advice and perhaps instead of doing Day 1 rides, Day 2 rides, Day 3 shows perhaps we should break the three days into lands and then when we are in those lands see the characters then as well as whatever shows are going on in that land. Its funny, I have been going crazy trying to plan some sort of touring plan but didn't even consider this until you posted your ideas.
Thank you
Suzy V.
