Show time changes when MK closes later?

We are doing the fireworks dessert party on 8/22. Our "reservation" time is 7:30, with HEA at 9pm/park closing. MK has just extended its hours until 10pm, so I'm assuming that HEA will push back an hour. Will the dessert party also push back an hour? Will Disney notify us about this or is there someplace I can find out?

I was looking at the updated hours for the beginning of August today. Even though closing is now an hour later (11:00pm instead of 10:00pm) some days during our week, the calendar still lists HEA at 9:15pm. So, they may not change the HEA times just because closing time changed.

They won’t change the fireworks time.

Usually HEA showtime is not affected when MK extends it's hours. Expect it to go off at it's time it was scheduled unless you see it posted otherwise

Always check park schedules when there to confirm just to be safe, but HEA will not typically move when park hours move. In fact, once things like dessert parties become bookable, you will rarely see the fireworks times change.

FYI, HEA is at 8:55pm on 8/22 - I generally think it's safe that time won't change.

Of the four theme parks, Epcot is the only one where the "evening spectacular" start-time will consistently change with the "park closing time."
