this pic reminded me of my son's feet, he's 11 and wears size 11 1/2. but he's still my baby

OMG! My son is 11 too! ...and he wears a size 10!

I actually bought him a size 11 Croc today! What is happening to our boys girl??

:confused3

:lmao:

I don't know, but i'm going broke buying him shoes. I keep telling him to stop growing. He's already 5'5"!

THAT'S WHY I BOUGHT HIM A SIZE-LARGER CROC TODAY! :rotfl:

(Sorry for hijacking the thread folks!)

Not exactly "vacation" but we did do some sightseeing on our trips there.
Guatemala. Our daughters birth country.
First visit trip. Flying in on a cloudy day.

Antigua, Guatemala. Good Friday 2008. Our pickup trip.

Good Friday is a very important celebration there. In Antigua they have processionals that last all day. People make these elaborate "carpets" up and down the streets. They are made of sawdust, sand, leaves, seeds, etc.

We walked up the steps into one of the churches and heard people gasp and turn around. The volcano known as Fuego erupted some ash (its an active volcano).

Last April, my family and I went to HHI to celebrate what would have been my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. My Dad passed away in 2007, but Mom said we should still do the trip. Although my Dad enjoyed golfing at WDW, HHI was one of my Dad's favorite places to vacation in the spring. Below are some photos from that very special trip.

We started our trip by flying into Savannah and spending one evening at the Riverwalk before heading off to HHI.

Part of the trip was spent on a couple of golf courses including Heron Point where we could drive a golf cart through one of the sandtraps.

Throughout our rounds of golf we saw plenty of gators including this one at Heron Point. Notice the sand in the foreground. That is a bunker, and I am standing on the opposite side of the bunker from the gator.

Every trip must include a visit to South Beach and The Salty Dog Cafe.

Although we did not stay at the DVC Resort, we did stop in for a visit and walked out on the pier.

At this point, we are planning a big family gathering at HHI for Thanksgiving 2009. Our plans are to stay at the DVC resort during that trip.

As far as my wife is concerned, there is no other vacation spot other than Disney! :rotfl:

My parents live in Williamsburg, VA, so we do get there at least once a year and my in-laws have a condo in Ormond-By-The-Sea (outside Daytona Beach) where we stay on our way to and from the World.

Very nice Becky- I would love to go to Williamsburg one day. :goodvibes

Thanks, Jeff. I tried to remember some of the things I learned in my class. I just couldn't get the lady out of my fife and drum picture. :rolleyes1 The forgery was so small and it was pouring so lots of people were in there and I could not get to the other side of the room so I couldn't get him looking at me. It really is a neat place to visit. Very educational but also enjoyable. We never got tired of seeing people in colonial dress. Our last night there we had dinner in Shield's Tavern and was visited by Mr. Shields who was quite amusing. Leave it to us to find character dining at Williamsburg!! :lmao:

This is our weekend get away place, Nice area just to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
