Our favorite non-Disney trip is definitely this trip to the Grand Tetons:

Actually, I'd be so flattered that I took such a nice picture. Specifically, it's the south part of Jenny Lake in the Grand Tetons (If I remember, there were two big lakes, Jenny and Jackson).

We visit Rocky Neck State Park several times a year; we love that place. Most of my pictures are the usual "kids on the beach" shots, but with patience you can snap some of the egrets that hang out there.

Yep, it was a 2 hour trip... and they guarantee you see whales, your 100% money back! The whales that were around were called pilot whales.
