groucho, nice photos.... there is a really pretty rocky type/ledges place I think near watkins glen we have been to but i can't remember the name. do you know where i mean? it's driving me nuts not being able to remember it...guessing that would be NY though so what is the PS grand canyon place called?

I think you're probably thinking of the Watkins Glen State Park. Sorry that it's not a more exciting name.

Watkins Glen is a really pretty area. I love the descent into the town, with the water on your left... and we mostly go for the vintage races, so it's usually the nice view and old sports cars all around. What more could anyone ask for?

Cedar Point was great! We stayed at the Hotels Breakers and that was the view from our room!

We stayed there last year! And we are probably returning again this year. Great hotel!

yeah that 's the place in the photo...you'd think i could have remembered that but, guess not... thanks, hub and i were thinking of some places for weekend excursions and now that i can take my camera.....
