I did the World Showcase Engagement photo shoot in November 2006. I don't have the ability to show you the pictures as I don't have a scanner and you only have access for about 6 months to the pictures online before you have to pay to extend being able to see them online which I didn't do.
I'll tell you about my experience though

. It was a surprise for my bf at the time (we are no longer together). I had pretty much known he was going to propose during our WDW trip (which he did at the Poly) so I thought it would be fun to get the pictures done while we were there. I called Disney Photography about August for our end of November/beginning of December trip. She told me to call back about a month before and they would be able to make the appt.
I called back in October and told her I wanted the photo shoot at World Showcase (my reason for picking this was they do the pictures before World Showcase is open which means no people in your pictures and I think World Showcase is so beautiful). I was told I would receive 20 4X6 prints in a leather album and it would take about an hour. I believe I paid approx. $300.
The morning we got up to go to the World Showcase I told him we were getting the pictures done. He didn't seem as excited as I would've been if someone had told me this

. They do keep a section open of the World Showcase so that people can walk from the International Gateway to Future World. We were to meet our photographer, Brian, at the International Gateway at I believe 10 a.m. Also, from the Dis I assumed I had to pick one or two countries to get pictures taken in and I had been racking my brain trying to figure out which ones I loved the most!
We meet Brian and he's super nice. He explains to us that we will get pictures taken in all of the countries!! I was so excited. He took about 10 pictures in each country (and some of the most beautiful pictures, my favorite is we were sitting at the end of the long planter of flowers at France kissing and we were blurred out but the beautiful purple flowers were in focus).
We got to take pictures that you wouldn't normally be able to get. We jumped over the little fence in Canada and sat in the grass to take pictures. It was a great experience. He also asked if there were any photo's of things we wanted to do around World Showcase.
After a little over an hour, we departed ways at the International Gateway. He gave me a little business card with the username and password to see our pictures online in about 2-4 weeks. About a month and a half after the session we received the beautiful white leather photo album with Cinderella's Castle embossed in gold in the front. In the album were twenty pictures and they had included a little plastic bag FILLED with all of the other pictures! I couldn't believe it!
I hope to do it again someday (since I have the right guy now and I've lost 30 lbs. since then

). My only regret (besides the guy) is that we didn't dress nicer. We were headed to MGM after the photo session and I had wanted to go casual. But after I got the photo's I had wished I had put on something nicer to wear.
It was so much fun. Let me know if you have any questions!
**Oh, and I'm assuming they do still make you choose a few countries and we just got lucky.
