Show me: your black/white or sepia photos

here is one I took last weekend..had to be sneaky about it and zoom in on him..lol...but the sun was so nice at that moment shining in the house--starting to set--and I love to use sepia. And..i have no clue why he wears shades in the house;)

As my almost 14 yr old DD would say.... "because he is cool like that." ;)

This great thread slipped all the way to page 2! I just had to post another image to bump it up!

tmax and d-76 is just not a nice combo. it brings out grain nicely, but it tends to really blow highlights unless you shorten developing time. oh well, the shop finally got tri-x 400 back in stock, which works very well in both d-76 and hc110.

How do you do these types of photos? I have Photo Impact but can't figure it out.

It's called "Selective Coloring". Using layers, desaturate and the layer mask to 'paint away' the b&w and show the color under. Not sure how to accomplish it in Photo Impact. But here's a link explaing the process in Photo Shop.

I googled and found these links. These might help

I know its not good - but how do I get all those little areas yellow? Do I just play around with it more or is there an easier way?

zoom way in so you have real control. Another option is if that is the only yellow you had you can just select the color in the picture.

some more film shots - this time back on trusty tri-x 400 filmstock - developed in d-76. shot with voigtlander r4a and ultron 28mm f/1.9

I'm not very good... But I have one as well. This is Miss. Mary a truck we have on the property. It was taken on a Canon S3IS in color, and the saturation and contrast were adjusted in Photoshop CS.
