Yes, I admit it... I am a chocoholic. I just have to have chocolate every day, 365-days-a-year, (366 during leap year) - can't live without it - don't want to live without it - where's my chocolate?!?! Even if it's just one Hershey Kiss, that's enough for me. So, where can I find the best chocolate in WDW?

Also, on my cruise last January, I found a new favorite dessert - plain cheesecake. (I know, not chocolate, amazing! LOL) Unfortunately, cheesecake is hardly a good think to have every day, and thankfully, it's not as good as chocolate so I can just save it for a nice treat while on vacation. So, where can I find a really good, no, the best piece of cheesecake in WDW?

That easy.. Where else to get cheesecake but the cheesecake factory... Wonderland Cafe in DQ is run by The Cheesecake Factory. Also you can find chocolate mousse everywhere in WDW and it is the most rick, most chocolatety thing, I love it! Also Main St Confectionary in MK has loads of chocolate check it out when you go to the MK.. Then DTD has goofys candy company and plenty of the TS restuarants have some to die for desserts, you wont have to look far for great chocolate!!

Allearsnet had a chocolate around the world review. It was chocolate in every country in Epcot. It was really cute. Not sure if it is still there.

To one Chocohalic to another here are my MUST chocolate fixes...
Main St. Bakery - MK there is a s 7 layer chocolate cake there covered in a chocolate fudge frosting. It is my FAVORITE chocolate item ANYWAY!!! I dream about this cake. I even bring my tupperware to keep the left overs in. Trust me you won't beable to finish it all.

Ghirardelli DTD- for the best "portable" chocolate bars

I can't think of the name of the place in Disney's West Side it's a little sweet shop (bad Apple or something) it has the old witch from Cinderella out front making her "bad apple" anyway they have the most wonderful chocolate covered strawberries. A huge MUST in my book.

Last but not least Boulangerie Patisserie in France- have to try the chocolate filled eclairs YUMMY!!!!

Hope this helps! Enjoy your chocolate treats!

WOW! I just discovered the ice cream sandwiches at the Main St. Bakery and now this . . . . :rotfl:

Ghirardelli at DTD is a must stop for us. They have a chocolate shop on one side, usually handing out FREE samples, and a fountain shop on the other side where you can get great ice cream treats.

Goofy's Candy Company... DTD... next to Rainforest Cafe... they have a 'build your own creation' bar- you place your order on paper and they make it for you. You start with a 'base' of either an apple, a mickey-krispy square (Mickey shaped, of course), a Mickey gingerbread cookie, 3 pretzel rods, biscotti, or a few other choices. You get to pick a 'dip' - dark choc, white choc, milk choc, or caramel; and you choose a topping- crushed M&M's, butterfingers, oreos... the list goes on and on and on. It is WONDERFUL!!!!!

Now these are the kinds of things I was looking for. Must say that I was quite disappinted to learn they weren't having the Brewer's Dinner at the F&W Fest  but some of your suggestions are slowly making up for it. Keep 'em coming!

The bakery in the French pavillion has the best plain cheesecake in our opinion. It's a MUST for us on each trip.

Our recent trip this was my favorite chocolate. Got it at Sunshine Seasons in The Land. It tasted like a chocolate spice cake. Was very very yummy. The last photo is of mini zebra domes and chocolate mousse cakes(or since it's multiple would it be chocolate mice cakes) from Mara at AKL, my DDs and I didn't think the mousse was very good, but looooved the zebra domes.

I second the vote for the chocolate cake at the Main Street Bakery--it is wonderful. The chocolate fudge sundaes at Beaches and Cream are also wonderful. Goofy's Cando Co has GREAT chocolate covered nuts (like a turtle, but they do not call it that). I have also had a chocolate cake at the Fountainview in Epcot that is quite good. Now I'm getting hungry!

Who has the chocolate lava cake besides Rainforest cafe? I heard Kona cafe has it even though it is not on the menu at allears menu site :teeth: but anyone know?

Speaking of chocolate bars, we like the Ritter Sport chocolate you can find in the Germany pavilon.

The Volcano at Rainforest Cafe is awesome.

Third vote for the MK chocolate cake. They used to have this at DTD, before they converted the store. DW and I were very distraught when news of eliminating the snack counter came. Luckily, we found the cake surface at Main Street. It is so choclately and fudgy.

The other item no one has mentioned yet, though not a single item you can order, are the oreo bon-bons from Cape May's dinner buffet. It is an oreo topped with an oreo mousse, covered with a chocolate dusting. They are heaven.

The Norwegian pavilion in WS has the BEST chocolate cake. It has a layer of mousse in it. Heavenly! :cloud9:

That's the Candy Cauldron - one of my favorite places in WDW. I love watching them make the caramel apples. They have a really good selection of fudge (cookies & cream being one of the best flavors) and huge cookies. It was the only place DH could get a Snickerdoodle on our last trip. Why anyone would eat a cookie without an ounce of chocolate in it is beyond me! I think he orders them because he knows I won't ask for a bite. :p

I used to adore the chocolate covered ice cream bars until I made the mistake of looking at the nutrition facts on the package. :mickeybar Now I can't go near them. I fool myself into thinking that the ice cream sandwiches at Sleepy Hollow are better for me!
