Me at Disneyland Hotel, 1991. To the left is Adventure tower, behind me is Frontier, and behind me you can see the wharf with paddleboats, a boat game (the wheels controlled them), and Hook's Pointe Restaurant (what is now Tangaroa Terrace). All of that area that is now pools, waterslides etc was a "harbor" and it was quite large, with shops across it. It went all the way across to what is now Goofy's Kitchen (which was Stromboli's Italian restaurant then) and across the front of Fantasy Tower. At that time, there were other rooms, shops, dining, and pools in what is now DTD.
My favorite sign in all of DL! I was so scared of the abominable snowman when I was little - to the point that I wouldn't go on the Matterhorn - so seeing this as an adult made me laugh.
Show me something else that scared you or a family member when you were little, that doesn't anymore.
