Should we switch parks on EE mornings?

Will be at DL for 5 days staying at DLH, so will have EE for one park or the other daily. Should we switch to the non EE park in the afternoon/evening? I've heard the EE park is always busier. Not sure if anyone would be willing to make the trek to the other park for FP alone. Thanks!

What you heard about the EE park being busier is a WDW phenomenon that someone got confused with DLR. Not true for DLR.

What you probably have is a Magic Morning that comes with 3 day or longer tickets. It's on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday in Disneyland Park.

Early Entry is for Annual Passholders and is at the opposite park as Magic Mornings and Extra Magic Hours.

Extra Magic Hours are for the Disney hotels's guests and happen when and where Magica Mornings do.

I've heard that when the EE is full it will be just as busy as Extra Magic Hours, so there may be little benefit to hop over. Also When the EMH or EE guests are in DCA, Cars Land is getting busy before any regular guests get in and FPs run out quicker.

Ok, what I actually have is a combination of EMH and MM, since we have 6 day park hoppers and are staying at DLH. But thanks for the info -- I was hoping to stay at the same park all day in spite of the hoppers because it's just so much easier.

Right, and I think since EMH overlaps with MM, it's easier to think of it as having EMH every day.

i.e. people who only have MM through a park hopper have access to DL on just one day (offered four days a week, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday). People who have EMH through staying on site have access to DL on every day it's offered (same days, Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun) plus access to DCA on every day it's offered (Mon, Wed, Fri).

It's not really a "trek" to one park or the other. They are so close that you might want to hop some days and not hop other days.
