should we switch CRT dinner?

My family and I are planning on an early dinner at CRT on a MNSSHP night (Oct. 6), but after checking their menu over, we don't see a lot that appeals to us...especially since my mother and I will be sharing an entree. I was wondering if we non-adventurous eaters should switch to something like Tony's Town Square, or a restaurant on the monorail like Kona. We want something that offers big portions. How is CRT on portions...is their king cut steak large enough to split? Thank you for any and all comments in advance!

LTT is a good option...it's Thanksgiving type food served family style. It's AYCE so sharing isn't an option. There will be characters dressed up for halloween . We are doing this on Oct 30 before MNSSHP

I have never eaten at CRT, but I thought the same thing as you. Their dinner menu is just so BLAH. Nothing really sounds good to me. I guess DH and I like more flavors/spices and more unique cuisine. It seems like CRT specializes in plates of traditionally seasoned meat. I guess that is good for families with picky eaters and children, but not for us. We can get prime rib, lamb with mint jelly, and pork tenderloin at many places near our home. We eat at WDW for something different. Also, we have ADR's for Le Cellier one night, so prime rib at CRT just isn't as appealing.

We decided to go with Kona Cafe after hearing all the good reviews.
