should we rent a car or use ME?

hi everyone. i have a few questions as to what i should do about transportation. i have convinced dbf to make his first trip ever to wdw june 9-13. we will be staying at ssr. i'm assuming that although we are dvc we can still use ME. someone correct me if i am wrong on that. since it is his first time in wdw i think we will stay onsite- although you never know. i do think we will need groceries. i have heard we could get some delivered though, but i know nothing about how that works. my dbf says we can take a cab if need be instead of renting a car since we will most likely only need to go for food. all that said- ME sounds good. however, besides me being a bit crazy when it comes to my luggage, if our flight leaves at 7:20 pm at what time would we take the ME bus to the airport? i believe w/mears it was at least 2-3 hrs before your flight. will it be the same w/ME? basically i am concerned w/groceries and time taken from our stay to go to and from airport and waiting for cabs and i know dbf will be very cranky waiting. do i do the free ME service or pay 100 bucks for the rental car? i would greatly appreciate any advice (so i can blame you all if dbf gets cranky )

I am waiting to make a decision until mid may once Dissers have returned and posted here as to what their experiences were with ME. I personally am leaning toward the limo service (which by the way stops at a store for a grocery run). I think your DVC questions would be better answered on that board. Have a great trip, and you are not alone in your worry, I too am a freak about my luggage!!

jessica - I am going on May 14 - I promise to tell how smooth ME went or not.

DVC members can do it - just call MS tomorrow - they need your reservation number of course - then the airlines, flight number and arrival date - same information for the departure date.

For groceries - I have been told to use

I haven't been on a plane since 1999 -but I it is cheaper to fly than drive -

I got told to be back by 2 hours and 45 minutes before your plane departs to catch the bus. there will be a ME (or airline) counter near the front desk for us to use.

maybe by your time it will be working properly and the luggage tugs will be send out.

oh I am not renting a car. I will go crazy - when I ran out of something before - get in the car go to Walmart - when I got a headache or anything like that - get in the car go to Walgreen....

So I am having to PLAN...
