Should we Memory Maker or not?

Hello all...
We are a family of four... me, DH, DS 17 and DD 11.
We are going on a short trip to WDW Aug 27 - 30 that includes 1 Day in each MK, HS, EP. No Character Meals, No Park Hopper. A very low key four day trip.

My question is Memory Maker - with no character meals, and just three short days in the world, do you think it is worth it for $169.00?
Keep in mind that while my daughter will be fine taking tons of pics.. the boys may not be as thrilled.
We will meet the major characters, but since this is a short trip, we have already established we will not wait long lines for princesses, etc.

The Memory Maker photos really are a matter of getting out what you put into it.

So, what do you want to get out of it? Do you want to come home with lots of photos of the 4 of you together? Or are you more interested in focusing on DOING, and maybe just grabbing a shot or two of the kids as they do their thing?

If a few cell phone photos of what everyone gets up to on the trip is enough for you, then don't spend the money. If you want to take lots of group shots where EVERYONE (even you!) gets in the picture, I'd say sure, go ahead and ante up for the Memory Maker package. We do it every time we go to Disney World and have yet to regret it - I've come home with hundreds of photos I would not normally have gotten otherwise. But I feel that for the price, the more Photopass photographers you hit, the better the bargain - so if you aren't all going to want to stop and pose for several photos in each park, you may not feel like you've gotten your money's worth. To me, it's worth it... but only you can decide whether you'll put in/get out enough to say it's worth it to you.

We just got back from 9 days (only 6 in the parks) and didn't stop nearly as much as we usually do and have over 500 pictures. It is worth it as the previous poster said if you want to be in the pictures, I love getting pictures of the characters with just my boys and then getting the whole family. We have some incredible shots, the looks on my boys faces are priceless. The PP photographers are great are capturing those moments. For us it's worth the $169.00 because we meet so many characters and the new ride videos are a great addition as well.

The ride pics are worth the cost. We got 300 pics just the two of us.
