Should we keep our rental car ressie for our trip this week or rely on the buses???

Okay a little background first. Three of us will be arriving via Magical Express on Wed. night March 20th. We are staying at SSR. My husband will be arriving into MCO around 8:45 Friday night the 22nd. We rented him a car. We are staying 6 nights at SSR then we are moving to AKV for our last 2 nights. That was one reason we rented a car.....just easier for moving. Then we were thinking it would be nice to be able to drive to and from AK, HS and EC. We always take buses to and from MK.
I have read that because we are going a busy time....that parking can be a pain too. We were there for the same time period LAST YEAR..leading into Easter week but we stayed off site and had our van. So we had to drive to and from the parks. I don't recall having to park too far out or wait in long lines for parking either. Then again....we didn't always get to rope drop either....so maybe that is why we didn't wait in long lines to park.


SO......should we save the 228 bucks for the rental and just rely on the buses?????? Thoughts?????

If I were staying at SSR/AKV, I would want a car---AKV can feel a little isolated, and the multiple stops at SSR can take extra time. I'm a rope-drop/mid-day break/evening return person, and haven't done Easter, but I have done peak summer and President's Week. Neither saw significant traffic for our patterns.

That makes sense!! We have always liked having a vehicle the few trips we have driven. Plus it's nice if you want to run out to Flippers for a pizza!!
